Satish Kumar Gautam (born July 1st, 1972) is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He won the 2014 Indian general elections and 2024 Indian general election from the Aligarh constituency of Uttar Pradesh.[1][2][3][4]
Early life and education
[edit]Satish Kumar was born to Damodar Gautam and Ram Devi on 1 July 1972 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Satish Kumar has completed his education till the matriculation level.[5]
Political career
[edit]In May 2014, Gautam was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha.[4] While in office he was a member of several committees, including the Standing Committee on Chemicals & fertilizers from September 2014 to July 2015,[6] Consultative Committee, Ministry of Railways,[citation needed] and the Standing Committee on Labour from 2015 and onward.[citation needed]
In May 2019, Gautam was elected to 17th Lok Sabha from Aligarh.[citation needed] In 2024, he once again won the election from the same constituency.[7]
Personal life
[edit]Satish Kumar married Meenakshi Gautam on 30 April 1993. He is fond of sports, particularly Kabaddi.[8]
