Palestine Township is a township in Story County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2000 census, its population was 4,604.
Geography
[edit]Palestine Township covers an area of 36.4 square miles (94 km2) and contains the incorporated towns of Huxley, Slater, Sheldahl and Kelley. According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Lincoln Cemetery, Bethany Cemetery, Slater Cemetery, Sheldahl Lutheran Cemetery, Fjeldberg Cemetery and Palestine Cemetery.
