Bob Ringwood (born 25 November 1946) is a retired British costume designer. He is perhaps best known for creating the costumes for David Lynch's science fiction film Dune (1984),[1] as well as Tim Burton's superhero film Batman (1989) and its sequel, Batman Returns (1992).[2] Ringwood has been nominated twice, for Empire of the Sun (1987) and Troy (2004), for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.[2][3]
