American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is the most-streamed female artist in Spotify's history.
South Korean boy band BTS is the most-streamed group in Spotify's history.[1]

The following list contains the most-streamed artists on the audio streaming platform Spotify. As of August 2024, Canadian rapper Drake is the most-streamed artist of all time, with over 100 billion streams.[2] American singer Taylor Swift is the most-streamed female artist, having received more than 85 billion streams.[2] Since 2012, Spotify has published a yearly list of its most-streamed artists, which has been topped by Drake and Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny a record three times, with Bad Bunny being the only artist to do so in consecutive years (2020–2022). Swift is the only female artist to have topped the list (2023).

Most monthly listeners

As of August 2024, the Canadian singer the Weeknd is the artist with the most monthly listeners on Spotify, while the American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish is the female artist with the most monthly listeners. The Weeknd also became the first artist to surpass 100 million monthly listeners in Spotify's history, while Taylor Swift became the first female artist and second overall, to surpass 100 million monthly listeners in Spotify's history.[17] Billie Eilish is the third and thus far youngest artist to surpass 100 million monthly listeners.[18] The record for groups is 85 million, with Coldplay being the first to achieve the milestone.[19]
