Marie-Claude Ossard (French pronunciation: [klodi ɔsaʁ]; born 16 December 1943 in Paris) is a French film producer.

Biography

[edit]

She ran her own production company, Claudie Ossard Productions[1], from 1994 to 2005, while Champs Elysées Productions[2] and Eurowide Film Production[3][4] (another of her companies) were also dedicated to the production of feature films[5].

At the same time, from 1997 to 1999, she co-directed the company Ossard-Cohen, specializing in commercial productions, with her partner, producer Nelly Cohen. This company notably produced a commercial for Barilla, featuring Gérard Depardieu.

She later collaborated with producer Chris Bolzli to form the company Eurowide Film Production.

In 2021, she was part of the jury at the Dinan Short Film Festival, where she reunited with Marc Caro, Jean-Claude Dreyfus, and Jean-Pierre Jeunet to mark the 30th anniversary of the film Delicatessen[6].
