- haydamak: 18th century peasant rebel in Ukraine; another meaning is brigand (highway robber)[1]
- kylym: carpet; from kilim = carpet
- kavun: watermelon; from kavun = melon
- yohurt: yogurt; from yoğurt = yogurt[2]
