Thogata Veera Kshatriya (Telugu: తొగట వీర క్షత్రియ ) are a Hindu community of [[different occupations ]][1][2] found in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. They claim descent from Chaudeswari and follow Vaishnavite tradition.[1][3]
Thogatas are classified as an Other Backward Class (OBC) in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and other Indian states.[4] They are distinct from other weaving castes like Padmasali and Devanga.
