Dominik Kubera (born 15 April 1999) is an international speedway rider from Poland.[1][2]
Speedway career
[edit]Kubera won a bronze and a silver medal at the World Under 21 Championship in 2019 and 2020 respectively.[3] He had previously won the 2018 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship.[4][5]
During the 2021 Speedway Grand Prix he won silver and bronze medals in the 5th and 6th rounds of the World Championship.[6] In 2022, he helped Lublin win the 2022 Ekstraliga.[7]
In 2023, he was a member of the Polish team that won the European Team Speedway Championship.[8] In July 2023, he was part of the Polish team that won the gold medal in the 2023 Speedway World Cup final.[9] Later in 2023, he received a permanent wildcard slot for the 2024 Speedway Grand Prix.[10]
Kubera started the 2024 season in style by winning the Golden Helmet.[11] Also in 2024, he helped Poland reach the final of the 2024 Speedway of Nations in Manchester.[12]
