Daniel Arias III (born September 2, 1998)[1] is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals after the 2023 NFL draft.
College career
[edit]Arias committed to play college football for the Colorado Buffaloes and in his five years there caught 48 passes for 750 yards and four touchdowns.[2][3][4][5]

Arizona Cardinals
[edit]After not being selected in the 2023 NFL draft, Arias was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2023.[7][8] On August 29, 2023, the Cardinals announced that he had made the initial 53-man roster, but he was waived one day later and re-signed to the practice squad.[9][10][11] He was released on September 19.
Kansas City Chiefs
[edit]On September 27, 2023, Arias was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad.[12] He was released on October 24.[13]
Arizona Cardinals (second stint)
[edit]On November 1, 2023, Arias was signed to the Cardinals practice squad.[14] He was released on November 7.[15] Arias was re-signed on November 21.[16] He was released again on December 19.[17] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 9, 2024.[18] On August 22, 2024, Arias was released.[19]
