This category should be used for British people who are notable only or primarily for their work as a stage actor. If a British actor is notable for more than just stage acting, then a stub article about them should also use {{UK-film-actor-stub}} and/or {{UK-tv-actor-stub}}, or relevant subcategories.

The perfect article about an actor gives both a (possibly short) biography and a list of performances. Also, appropriate categories should be added, especially those listed in Category:Actors by medium and Category:British stage actors.
