Crissay-sur-Manse (French pronunciation: [kʁisɛ syʁ mɑ̃s]) is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France.[3] It is one of the 'most beautiful villages of France' (an official category).[4] The houses are made from white limestone, with mullioned windows. The village is located on the Manse river.

Amenities
[edit]In 2010 it contained two restaurants. There are walking trails and picnic areas signposted in the town.
History
[edit]It was fortified in 1545, and was given to Jacques Turpin II of Crissé by the authority of François I.[6]
