The 1782 Massachusetts gubernatorial election was held on April 1, 1782 to elect the governor of Massachusetts. It was the third gubernatorial election following the adoption of the Massachusetts Constitution. John Hancock was re-elected to a third term, defeating Thomas Cushing.
