The Maveli Express is a daily night express train of the Southern Railway Division of Indian Railways connecting Mangaluru Central to Thiruvananthapuram Central. The train numbers are 16603 and 16604. It is the fastest train from Mangaluru Central to Thiruvananthapuram Central
About the train
[edit]This train is named after the Maveli, an alias of the ruler Kerala in the mythology of Mahabali. The train runs via the coastal railway route of Alleppey.
The train 16604 leaves Thiruvananthapuram Central at 19:25 and arrives at Mangalore Central at 08:15 the next day while train no 16603 leaves Mangaluru Central at 17:30 and arrives Thiruvananthapuram Central at 06:00 the next day.
