Xonrupt-Longemer (French pronunciation: [ksɔ̃ʁy lɔ̃ʒmɛʁ]) is a commune in the Vosges department in Grand Est in northeastern France.
Geography
[edit]The commune is located in the upper valley of the Vologne river, that goes up to the Schlucht mountain pass. The lowest point of this valley is located 642 m (2,106 ft) above sea level. The Longemer lake is located at 736 m (2,415 ft) and the highest point is the Haut de Falimont at 1,306 m (4,285 ft), located near the Hohneck.
It is one of 188 communes in the Ballons des Vosges Nature Park.[3]
