Candiana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southwest of Venice and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,468 and an area of 22.2 square kilometres (8.6 sq mi).[3]
The municipality of Candiana contains the frazione (subdivision) Pontecasale.
Candiana borders the following municipalities: Agna, Arre, Bovolenta, Correzzola, Pontelongo, Terrassa Padovana.
