Exodustema впервые названа Человеком Хендрик подродом была Синнана как Криристии [ 5 ] Впервые он был обоснованно опубликован в качестве рода Айе Бонпланда в 1807 году. [ 6 ] [ 7 ] Общее название получено из древнегреческих слов , EXO , означающих «снаружи» и Stema , «вычистка». [8]
As circumscribed in 2010, Exostema was probably polyphyletic.[9] Species have since been moved to other genera.
