Описание
[ редактировать ]Размер взрослой оболочки варьируется от 33 мм до 75 мм. Земный цвет раковины-розово-коричневый или пирожный коричневый, с вращающимися узкими линиями альтернативных белых и шоколадных четырехугольников и отрисовок. Эти линии обычно попеременно больше и меньше. Поверхность оболочки обычно гладкая, но иногда линии слегка повышены. Шпиль . гладкий [ 4 ]
Распределение и среда обитания
[ редактировать ]C. genuanus occurs in the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands and Cape Verde to Angola. The species prefers mud and sand at depths of 1–20 m.[1]
