Gazzetta di Parma is a daily newspaper published in Parma, Italy. It is one of the oldest daily newspapers in the country.[1][2]
History and profile
[edit]Gazzetta di Parma was established as a weekly newspaper in 1735.[1][2][3] Cesare Zavattini started his career in the paper.[4] Early contributors included Giovannino Guareschi,[5] Giuseppe Verdi, Arturo Toscanini, Alberto Bevilacqua, Luca Goldoni[1] and Leonardo Sciascia.[6] The daily focuses on local news related to Parma.[7]
The circulation of Gazzetta di Parma was 43,000 copies in 2007.[8]
