Почетная медаль Виктория ( VMH ) присуждается британским садоводству, проживающим в Соединенном Королевстве , которых Совет Королевского садоводческого общества считает заслуживанием особой чести Обществом. [ 1 ]
Награда была создана в 1897 году «В постоянном воспоминании о славном правлении Ее Величества и для того, чтобы дать совету присвоить честь британских садоводов». В правилах общества говорится, что только шестьдесят три садоводства могут удерживать VMH в любой момент времени, в честь шестидесяти трех лет правления королевы Виктории . Таким образом, честь не присуждается каждый год, но может быть предоставлен нескольким получателям в другие годы.
