Uropeltis - это род недомозных змей щита хвоста, эндемичных для полуостровной Индии . По состоянию на 2022 год 26 видов признаются действительными. [ 2 ]
Географический диапазон
[ редактировать ]Большинство видов Uropeltis встречаются на холмах полуостровной Индии, в основном в юго -западных частях страны, включая Западные Гаты и, в некоторой степени, также в восточных Гатах и на холмах Центральной Индии . [ 1 ]
Описание
[ редактировать ]Виды в роде Uropeltis имеют следующие признаки. Глаз в глазном щите. Там нет супраокулярных и височных . Там нет ментальной канавки . Хвост является коническим или наклонно усеченным, заканчивая в небольшом рассказе, конец которого является квадратным или двумя точками рядом. [ 3 ]
