Scots Trad Music Awards или NA Trads были основаны в 2003 году Саймоном Тумиром, чтобы отпраздновать во Шотландии традиционную музыку всех его формах и создать громкую возможность для того, чтобы привлечь музыку и музыкальную индустрию в центре внимания средств массовой информации и общественного внимания.
